I was quoted a price for a replacement opener and a service cost. When the technician arrived he told me there would also be a $100 labor charge. While he was working I called the company and they then called the technician telling him not to add a separate labor charge. She told the technician the service fee covered the labor. I felt like I was being ripped off and only because I called did I not get billed an extra $100. They need to work this out.

Leo Cornelius responded the same day to my call for help. My garage door cablehad snapped making it very difficult to move the garage door. He quicky sized up what needed to be done and offered me 3 options in order of cost: 1) Just replace the springs and cables 2) also replace the pulleys 2) also replace the rollers -- with a 7 year warranty I went for option 3 and Leo completed the work in under a hour. He got all the pieces together in precision working order and thorougly cleaned up afterwards.

Tech lacked attention to detail and did not communicate upon completion of job to instruct how to operate the opener. The door was left unleveled and no light bulb and no instructions on what type of bulb is best suited. He returned for repair and did not level the door and stated “it’s no way it’s my fault,” also about the light bulbs “…we don’t carry them because they can break.” I would not recommend this individual. Our first tech on the first opener explained operation, replaced springs, and leveled the door, and helped with a light bulb.
