Mechanics were very responsive . Called a number of times before they arrived to let me know where they were and when they would arrive onsite to repair I had called to have torsion spring replaced which had broken in 2. Cost of springs are under 100 dollars and 2 pulleys at either end should cost 25.00 .. Techs did an assume job which took no more than an hr. Was charged 179.00 from the start just to arrive with a total bill of 665.00 which seems excessive for parts that are under 100.00. Would not use again

For our readers to understand, and as I had mentioned the service charge to come out to your home was not $179, but $79 which was waived with repair. The parts used on your door were high cycle (long life). Rated to last longer then standard parts that would be found by a competitor or from the internet. Here at Precision Door we choose to invest in highest quality parts because we believe our customers deserve the best product and a long lasting functional garage door. I was very pleased to hear that the technicians that were at your home gave you confidence in the quality of their work, and were courteous. I am glad to hear that after our conversation you had more peace of mind with your investment in your garage door. My experience with Ryan coming to my house for my garage door was extremely satisfying. He was kind. He was thoughtful concerning my concerns about the door. He’s definitely very knowledgeable. Had the guys from Precision Door Service come to my home on 5-15-24 to install a new upgraded motor and belt drive system to reduce the noise from the original builder grade install. These guys were great! Had an estimate for fixing my old beat up garage door that wouldn’t go up or down at 8:30 am. The door was repaired completely by Noon. One of my garage door springs broke over the weekend and I called Precision right away since they had Saturday hours. First thing Monday morning, right on time, Mr. Benjamin was there to get things working again. I had already concluded that both springs would need replacing, and due to the age of the system, was considering the possibility of upgrading the garage door opener, but would need additional information. Benji conducted the safety inspection of the motor and the evaluation of the overall system; he provided information regarding the functional requirements for the type of doors; and discussed the various options available. A few hours later, there is a system with a lifetime warranty, remote access, built-in camera, a motor that is more appropriate to the weight of the doors, LED lighting, and quiet belt drive. I appreciate the customer service rep who took my call on Saturday and Mr. Benjamin for his professionalism and expertise on the install. The doors are working beautifully and are quieter than I thought possible.

When the spring broke on my garage door, I was not surprised when Kenny and Hunter said it was time to replace them. The repair would have been very labor intensive, so the new doors will be cheaper in the long run. Kenny assisted me in choosing the right doors (which Jerry had in the computer from last year) and I look forward to their arrival in 4 to 6 weeks. The nudge I needed to finally replace those original garage doors on the house my parents built in 1966!!

The spring in my garage door snapped at 10 o’clock at night. I was unable to use the door. By 11 o’clock the following morning, Precision Garage Door arrived and performed a repair.
