I chose Precision because they were located close by. They definitely met my expectations. Service was for a door that wasn't closing all the time. Service was very prompt. The technician answered all my questions and explained how parts worked, showed me the problems, offered several options, and did not push with a sales pitch. He was able to do the work immediately (had the time and all the parts). The technician was very pleasant and professional.

I appreciate the excellent job Kenny did to install a new garage door opener for me. He was very professional and knows his trade well. Very nice and knowledgeable representative. However, I was never asked by their representative that took my information as to what kind of door I had. So when the repairman showed, he told me they do not service my type of door but that he could convert it their parts. For this I was charged $60.00. If I had been told initially they did not repair my brand, they would not have been there and I would not be out $60.

Marty, thank you for your review. As discussed with the representative that was at your home. And to bring clarity to those reading this response. We did offer to fix your brand by doing a conversation from a torquemaster spring system, to another spring system. You had made the decision to keep your torquemaster spring system, and refused the conversion repair as an option. The torquemaster spring systems are mainly used for new construction, and are builder grade material. As we confirmed over the phone yesterday, when I had reached out to you after our visit. Precision Door chooses not to fix these specific springs system, because we find that they do not meet Precision Door's standards for long term reliability, which we feel that all of our customers should have. Long lasting, quiet, and reliable garage doors. We did charge the quoted $59.00 service fee, that covers gas, our time, and a full inspection and diagnosis of your door problem. Which through the inspection, we found the issue was not the cables as was mentioned when you booked your appointment, but the springs that were inside your tube. After learning that you were unsatisfied with this quoted charge. I called to inform you that Precision Door will be returning the full $59.00 charge back to you. In which you had confirmed that this review had already been submitted prior to our phone conversation. In conclusion, I do hope your garage door problem has been resolved by now, and repaired safely. And I wish you the very best.

When my ancient garage door broke (naturally), over the holiday weekend, the door was stuck at half mast! And embarassingly crooked, to boot! Monday morning Precision answered my call quickly, with professionalism and courtesy, and sent within just a couple of hours, an exceptionally pleasant and articulate technician! Jerry cheerfully answered all my questions, and clearly(and safely) explained the plan options. The options were perfect for our needs, and pricing was extremely fair. He had replaced and fixed all of the necessary parts, and the door up and running in just over an hour! He made the whole process an easy breeze! And did great work. Now we hope to select a new door soon... and we will go nowhere else! I had an unexpectedly perfect experience, and i highly recommend this company on so many levels! I thank your team for a job well done. The quality of the service was excellent. Your installers were very professional both times. When my garage door was first installed, a very small indent was on the top panel but I did not notice it. Maybe about three weeks later I received a phone call asking when would be the best time to come and replace the damaged penal. If the representative had not called to schedule the installation of the new panel, I would not have noticed the damage. This says a lot, and means a lot to me. This organization and its people can be trusted to do the right thing! The door looks great too. BME

Chad [estimate] and Kenneth [working tech]were great, very conscientious, and Kenneth was tenacious in making everything work just right. One garage spring snapped, had no safety, old aluminum door buckled. I bought this house and the garage door looked as if it had been rigged but I kept it for 6 years until the spring snapped. With no hesitation, I would recommend Precision.

I am so grateful for the great service we received from Jerry at Precision. After my husband accidentally backed into the garage door on a Sunday morning, we were in a panic because the broken door meant a trapped car. After submitting an inquiry online, we received a call from Precision within minutes scheduling our appointment at a time convenient for us the very next day. Jerry arrived within the window (and he called to let me know he'd be towards the later end of the window). He analyzed our problem, provided us with 3 affordable options (Band-Aid, full repair, or door replacement), and then set to work (mind you this was a dark, cold, windy Pennsylvania evening). He took his time to un-wedge the door from the frame causing minimal damage to the wood frame. The door is good as new! I would absolutely recommend Precision Door to any one with a garage emergency. We plan to use them when we "upgrade" our current doors!
