For the record, I would like to express my profound dissatisfaction with today’s service call. There was nothing done to test/confirm root cause for my garage door not working. Technician simply repeated what I told him (that I thought it was most likely a main circuit board issue) then proceeded to quote installation of new system. Basic LiftMaster system quoted at over $1K installed retails for less than $250. While I fully expect to pay more to have a professional do the installation for me, $1K is simply outrageous. I feel $500 installed would be more than fair. But not $1K+. I feel abused for paying $100+ service fee for a 15min visit from a technician that did not add any value other than presenting an abusive quote for system replacement. Call me is you care. I was pleased with tech service, however , when I called the company about the FSED charge. They hung up on me. I just wanted to know what that charge. My service call fee of $95 was waived because I opted to have service done. I did not understand the added charge. My total should have been $21.31 less. I just wanted an explanation.

Excellent prompt service. Our door was damaged by one of our cars. Precision was able to send a technician the next day who fixed the damage, inspected and tuned the door and opener. Great service! Only comment: Devon was our technician but he was not in the email sent to me to confirm the appointment. One: the email did not have his name. And two: he was not one of the technicians listed. Not his fault. But as the email is trying to make me feel secure, it is disconcerting when a person not listed comes. Luckily he was in a signed truck and wore a t-shirt with Precision's name and log.

Your tech called me as he said and he arrived on time. I waited for him and told him to move anything that was in his way. The tech started work and was done in about two hours. He explained how the new door worked. Any thing moved was moved backed. I paid him and he left shortly. Every thing was perfect. I was very happy with the entire job. I am sorry I took so long to have the garage ready for the installation. complete new garage door system installed. The whole job was done in a very professional manner.

I give your company technician a Five Start review. He was great! Had been to my house two years prior and had solved that problem. He looked at this new garage door problem. Then, explained what needed repaired and presented me with two options on how it could be repaired. I chose to replace the door motor, in that door, since the doors were replaced in 2013. He also checked my other door and gave it a thumbs up saying motor was still working. Thank you for great service!

Have used Precision Garage Door several times now for both repairs and preventative maintenance. Very easy to schedule appointments and email contact is immediate. Today I had the pleasure of Brandon Mills' service to replace our old garage door open with a very modern Lift Master model 87504. Arrived early and got to work. Once the work was completed he very patiently walked me through getting the MyQ app registered and logged-in, got my outside key pad coded, how to share the app with family members and also let me know what the green blinking light means. I wanted a garage door company in Chapel Hill. I found them with a Google search. I called one evening and they set up an appointment for the next day. We had a broken spring as well as some other parts showing wear. Greg showed up at the appointed time. He gave a good and complete explanation of what our options were. The service I received from Precision Overhead Garage Door Service was first rate from the call to the service center to the installation of the new torsion springs. The technician, Greg, was right on time and noted it may be best to replace my old springs with new torsion springs. He had all the parts on his service vehicle and installed the new springs on both doors. He was organized, professional, respectful of my garage floor and finished the job in several hours. He also identified and replaced a door hinge that was about to break. The doors now open smoothly and quietly. I am very pleased with the service provided by Greg and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service.
