Although the quoted repair cost was set at $69 after trying to be upfront very clear with the secretary, my understanding was that indeed 69$ but I guess there was a misunderstanding on the agreed price. Once the tech arrived he immediately confirmed that the cost would be about $250 plus $120 for cables (usually cost $12 at Ace Hardware). I finally decided all this was crazy and did the job myself. In short, their system of online confirmation and information about the driver was overkill and worried me as this whole thing seemed like a very oiled system to get you to buy their services once the tech is onsite. Overall I was disappointed and resentful. I would be very careful with upfront quote if I decided to use them in the future. I don't think I will do so anyway. I do not recommend this company. Sorry See below there is no option to indicate that I did not hire them. I selected one but this is only so that I can file this review

Good Afternoon Christian, I am sorry to hear your experience was unsatisfactory. I understand you were looking for us to replace your cables. We do charge a $69 service fee which only covers the technicians arrival, inspection and written recommendation on what is needed to make the necessary repairs. I see we did NOT charge you the $69 after hearing you did not agree with the pricing of our cables. We can compete with Ace hardware cables as they are inferior to our cables. I am glad you were able to install the cables yourself, however its not recommended however it seems you were able to. I hope you consider us for future work, and just know up front the $69 charge and what that covers. Any additional parts or labor will be in addition. We try to provide a professional service, with the highest quality parts in the industry. We take pride in making our customers happy, and will do what we can to achieve that.

I went back to precision for a new garage door because of how pleased I was when they installed my opener two years ago. I was not disappointed. Anthony and Malik worked well together, very efficient and go the extra mile for the customer. Rick went out of his way to offer the best product at a fair price. Indeed, I would highly recommend this organization for your needs.
