your techs are great!. its been 6 months since they put the new door in. you have had to come back 5 times to fix it. first they ordered the wrong door . then one panel had a dent. bolts were not tighten on one of the rails. then one of the cables snapped, which put a crease in the top panel. they ordered 2 new panels, which they installed on 1/23/24. now there is another dent in one of the new panels they just installed. your suppliers need to figure a better way of protecting the panels during shipping. all i want is a new door i paid for, without any dents. and i also bought a new opener from you guys as well.

I used Precision Door at my previous home. So when the old garage door spring at my current home broke, I didn't hesitate to call Precision Door again. I was thrilled when a tech arrived within a couple hours of my call, and was able to get the garage door open manually so I could get my car out. I decided to get a new door since the existing door was 65 yrs old. The wait for a new garage door was long (all of February and half of March), especially with the snowstorms we had this year. The tech who installed the garage door was professional, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quick turnaround time it took to actually install the door. I am happy with the look of the new garage door. I've had several relatives stop over to check it out.

The install was done very quickly and thoroughly. Technical was personable. We are owed 1 remote that wasn't provided at time of service in September. Its January and I followed up to see when we would receive it. The office shared with me that it will be an additional cost (1hr labor) and the remote fee to come out and program it. This was part of the service we paid for back in September! Very disappointed with the additional service charge because they didn't have the remote at time of install.

Well, Brandon was wonderful, very accommodating and patient with myself and my tenant. My tenant expressed to me the opener didn't work and she changed the batteries and it still didn't work. So I called Precision and they sent out a tech to meet around our schedule. Brandon showed up, opened the garage door, moved a bag of recycled bottles, pushed the door opener and look at that... the door closed. LOL. Lesson learned... make sure there is nothing in the way of the sensor before you call for service! Thank you Brandon!

Called to replace broken spring on 7 yr old house. We do use the door quite a bit. Installer used scare tactic that our door would fall down if we didn’t do a full rebuild. The rebuild did upgrade us to higher cycle springs. Looking at rebuild kits with 40,000 cycle springs run about $250. They guy was there for 90 minutes and they priced at $799 plus tax. I do t mind paying for a fair product but paying $375 hr for labor is a bit ridiculous. I would recommend a smaller company as this is not a difficult repair.

It is then up to the homeowner to determine the best option to fit their needs. Our technicians only give recommendations and our prices, like all business, must reflect overhead and the cost of doing business. It is very common for a 7 year old door with moderate use to require extensive upgrades and there are several parts on the door that can cause a door to come out of the track should they fail. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received when a mishap made it necessary to have some fairly major repairs to our wooden garage door. Rollers, springs and cables were replaced to get it operating correctly again. The stops on the track were realigned to make it close properly. The technician was very informative giving us all options. He was friendly, knowledgeable and worked in a timely fashion. I would rate this repair at 5 stars.
