Sean Gelvin showed up at my residence on time and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with my garage door opener. (The door would not open / close properly.) He explained the problem's source to me, told me what needed to be done and why, and then gave me a quote, which I accepted. Sean successfully completed the repair in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. He seemed to be quite knowledgeable and even showed me an item that may become a problem in the future and which I might consider ordering now.

Couldn't be happier. We had been discussing getting a new garage door and opener for some time. We decided we would use Precision because they had the best reviews and were going to call them tomorrow. Well, when we got home today, we closed the garage, went inside, then heard the torsion spring explode. Are cars were trapped inside. We called around 6pm and still got service tonight! Sean was very professional and a great representative for the company. Once he got started on replacing the spring it only took about 40 minutes. See you in 4 to 6 weeks with our new door. Business well earned.

Our garage door opener has an intermittent problem with the safety sensors. I called after it failed to work for 4 days Precision initially said they would send someone that day but called later and said it wouldn’t be til the following day. Later on that day the door started working again. The tech ran it through multiple cycles, but the problem did not occur while he watched. He did recommend adding a surge protector to the opener. He said he couldn’t do anything and to call again when it failed again.

The salesman, Randy, was very responsive to our request for a quote. He explained everything that would be included in the price. The 2 installers were great - friendly, knowledgeable, on-time, cleaned everything up afterwards. My garage clunked when opened or closed. It also would not close completely on left side. Precision Tech James Wooten identified the problems quickly, gave me an estimate of cost to fix it, then fixed it within an hour. He replaced both extension cables, adjusted limit switches, and made all other necessary adjustments in less than an hour. He did exactly what he had told me he would do, and he did it in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend James for the type of overhead door I have.

We called all of the garage door services places we knew that are located in Lincoln and no one could help us on a Friday evening. With the garage door stuck most of the way down we didn't have a way to get our vehicle out of the garage and my son had a hockey tournament we needed to get to the next morning. When I called Precision Garage door they were happy to help us and scheduled a tech to come down from Omaha that evening. Franky Au arrived a little later and he was able to fix the door quickly. Franky was friendly, fast and he cared about the quality of his work. It took a little testing and adjusting to make sure the door was opening and closing perfectly and he made sure we were happy with the work before he left. The cost of the repair was about the same as it would have been from a Lincoln based company too. We're definitely calling Precision Door Service for any future garage door needs.

EXTREMELY disappointed with the level of service provided today, and frustrated I even had to pay for the service. The technician did not follow instructions, did not contact the correct person for cost approval and laughed at us on the phone when asked about it. Why was I expected to just pay outright when he didn't even follow directions? When I called the office, nothing was even done to correct the tech's behavior. How can he get away with being disrespectful to a new client? The lack of communication and the inability to follow direction is so unprofessional. After getting off the phone, I find out from another family member the tech's didn't even fix the issue on their own, one of my family member's had to help!!!!

My problem happened on a Sunday so aI went online and looked for companies that had 24/7 repair. My original company did not offer that so I just chose Precision because their offices weren’t along ways from my home. They answered in a timely manner and they were really nice. I was told they could be to my home in the next couple of hours. About an hour later, Matt, their technician arrived. His customer service and communication was excellent. Before he began he informed me of the initial charge and he inspected it and told me the immediate things he would do. He also pointed out and showed me other little issues that could go bad. We made a plan and he did the job efficiently and we did things that would insure more lifetime on my garage door. I complimented him on his knowledge and his work ethic and he credited his company for their excellent training. Called on a Friday morning after our garage door was accidentally backed into and was unable to raise it. They sent out a worker within 3 hrs. He was unable to repair the damage as the door was beyond repair. So we were unable to get our car out. He said if they had a door in stock that we were satisfied with, which they did, he would come back in the morning, which was a Saturday, and install it. He was back in the morning with another worker and had installed by mid afternoon. I was very pleased with everyone that I dealt with from the the call on Friday till it was completed on Saturday.
