I reached out to the company to have garage trim and garage doors replaced. I was very clear about needing the trim done and was advised the company offers the trim work. We received a 4 hour window for the estimate appointment, which is very inconvenient. Our tech advised that they don’t provide the trim work. We did receive an estimate for the doors alone, which was substantially higher than a quote we received elsewhere for both the doors and the trim. We wasted our time waiting for an estimate from a company that could not provide the services we were very clear about needing from the very first interaction.

We are very sorry about the misunderstanding. While listening to your call, it was obvious that the customer service representative wasn't exactly sure what you wanted. In fact, in our terminology we install weatherseal, which within the industry is known as trim. Again sorry about the miscommunication. We check our prices against our competition regularly. It's very rare that our prices are higher than our reputable and established competitors.

This was my 2nd experience with Precision Door and both times my expectations were exceeded. I dealt with Ron Lecours on both occasions. He did a thorough check of the door system the first time, resolved the issue and gave me tips on maintenance and system alert prompts. Yesterday he upped the ante, installed a new motor for the door and was very thorough in explaining everything. You can list me as a satisfied customer.

The Tech. who installed my Garage Door, was great. He arrived ( early ) gut not to early. He stated upon his arrival it should take approx. 5 hrs. He was correct, he got there at 7:40am and was all finished and leaving my property a ten minuted to 1 pm. The job was initially told to me to be a very difficult one to do. I am so very please at his workmanship and professional attitude through out the entire time. The service man, Paul, was extremely knowledgable and skilled. We had to make a hard choice between fixing a 20 year old opener for 400.00 and getting a new one and a programmed opener for our other door, which was even older, and a keypad and openers for the new door for a few hundred dollars more. Both doors work beautifully now.
