They originally set up an appointment between 4 and 6 PM on Monday, but on Monday I got a call and the appointment was changed from 12-2 on Tuesday. I asked would they be able to fix the door on Tuesday I was told yes but when the guy came out he gave me a price of 650.00 but he could not fix it until Saturday. When I complain the guy told me they would come out between 8-10 on Wednesday. The man was there for 45 minutes after running 45 minutes late and charged me 650.00 I know that’s their price but I had a garage door man fixing a door across the street and he gave me a price of $375.00 to repair the doorf. I believe precision took advantage of us. Shop around before you let precision do your work.

It’s pretty expensive so expected everything to be perfect. my previous genie system was extremely simple to program with my truck. I cannot figure this one out . I told the tech I wanted my truck program and he explained how to do it and said it would be very easy. Well, it’s not , and I could not do it after 20 minutes and he was long gone, I’ll have to call the manufacturer next week to see if they can assist.

We did not have a good experience with Precision Door. The customer service communication was horrible. My first appointment was cancelled but we had to call to find that out not the other way around. The second appointment was reschedule for three weeks later. We were told that it was pushed so far out because the job required two people to do the install . The thing about that is when the installer came out it was just one person. We do have to give five stars to Sean the installer. He did an excellent job.

A very quick response to our garage door problem. Saw your truck at our next-door neighbor's house-- perfect timing, so we had service man take a look at our door that wouldn't close. Had appointment the next day--all our system was very old & worn out so had everything replaced, the very next day. The young fellow who did the work was very knowledgeable & courteous. He did a fantastic job, explained everything he did as well as answered all our questions. l had a complete overhaul of 2 garage doors. Everything except the doors and tracks was replaced. It was quite pricey, but it seems to be a quality product. It was a very hot day, and it took the technician about 10 hours to complete the job. Maybe sending a second technician would have been a good idea. At the end of the job, the technician was very tired and the clean up was not as thorough as I would have liked. Screws that could have caused a flat tire were left on the floor and in the driveway, and dirty hand prints on doors.

My garage door was not opening/closing, and the technician came to repair it for $200, but after “repairing” it, our garage door made weird, loud noises when opening and closing the garage door. Then I tried to open the garage door 2 days later and it broke again. I spoke with a rep online, and was assured that a technician would come out to fix the problem at no extra cost, as it was a callback. But on the day of the appointment, I received a call that my system was too old and I would have to pay over $1000 for a new system. I asked for a refund because they did not even come out to check on the problem, and why they charged me $200 for a half-assed job knowing that the garage door wasn’t completely fixed and my system was too old. They refused to give me a refund and offered a credit ONLY if I paid for the new system. I got frustrated, ended the call, and looked up a tutorial on YouTube and fixed my “old system” in less than 15 minutes. I was fooled by the amount of good reviews that I would be receiving a professional service but received the complete opposite. Would not recommend to anyone, very shady business.

Question answers: 1) I am very impressed with David who serviced my garage doors. 2) Yes, you solved my problem which seemed to be lining up the garage sensors. 3) David who represented Precision was definitely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about my garage issues. 4) David was helpful because he diagnosed the sensor error. 5) I choose Precision Garage because they were locally owned & I like supporting in my community. I really like them now knowing that the company will take care of the garage issues withing a reasonable time. I was scheduled the next day and it was Saturday. David took the time to show me how to realign the sensors, which was a good trick to learn.
