My car was stuck in the garage and they got a tech out within a couple of hours. We purchased new parts and they backed the set up with a 10 year warranty. We also requested a new wall button that they did not carry and the tech showed me where to order it.

My garage door opener broke late Friday afternoon so I called Precision thinking it would be next week but I was told they could have someone there between 6-8 and I got a text at 6:30 Fran the tech was on the way along with his picture. Fran arrived was very professional evaluated the situation,gave me my options and told me how long it would take. I had 3 issues with their service: 1)web site says if you call before 1PM, they give same day service. I called at 12:45 and they couldn't come out until the next day. 2)I received a text message that the technician was on his way - but I received the text 30 minutes after he arrived. 3)They charge $375 to replace 2 torsion springs on a double-wide door. Overhead door quoted $240. Even though Precision springs are oil tempered, that tempering doesn't cost that much to do. In the end they reduced my bill to $350, but in my opinion it was still too much.

My garage door broke a spring and would not open either electronically or manually leaving both cars trapped in the garage. Precision was great-a truly profession technician, Fran Desmond, arrived 45 minutes from my call for help. He quickly diagnosed the problem, provided several alternatives, and had my garage door completely overhauled within the hour. Superb response and service!

He presented options that were available to correct my very loud and rough operating garage door - from total replacement to measures to improve my existing door (and cost estimates for each). He provided lubrication to temporarily quiet the door until a more permanent repair can be considered this Spring. I was extremely satisfied - 5 Stars!

I have no issue with the Service Techs that came out Thursday ( they were good). So this isn’t about them. I’m am completely irritated at this point because this is the freaking 3rd or 4th time we’ve had to call for repairs in the 3 1/2 to 4 months that we’ve had the damn thing installed. And this last time it was ( as I’m putting it ) a complete break down that almost damaged my wife’s car. So I’m currently try to figure out why I bought a brand new door that so far has failed worst that the one that was replaced. If this door fails 1 more time before the installation date then I will be demanding precision to either refund our money ( including lost wages due to taking off work). Or free lifetime repairs until we decide to sell the house. Either way this last break down is the last of me understanding the situation. And will move forward to court if this happens again before the anniversary of the installation date.
