I have used Precision three times now and each time they have been professional, timely, and courteous in their response. The reason for 4 stars in my opinion is value. I find it a remarkable coincidence that the parts used only carry a two year warranty, and yet somehow they seem to fail just after the two years have past. I guess these manufactures have really figured it out. Secondly, after I or anyone has to replace or fix their garage door out of necessity because something broke, please don't have the repairmen hand over the ipad with multiple tipping options anywhere from 10-25% for a 1-2 hour job. I appreciate the man's hard work and his time, and probably would tip him accordingly, but why is a company that is established and as well known as you are allowing this. It's putting the customer in an awkward position to feel like they have to give an extra ($68 - $171 dollars in my case as a thank you). It's not like I had a choice and I'm ordering steaks. It's not right. Precision should consider a better way of handling this in my opinion.

I have done business with Precision door for many years. Starting in San Diego, then Charlotte, and now in Florida. I have always felt "comfortable " with the technicians. NOT TODAY THOUGH. I was told the "brains" of my unit would not receive remote signals. His "solution" was to charge me $931.00, and get a new unit. No attempt was made to see if a reburshed part was available. He has been with the company for only one year, and I felt that he was trying to build the invoice up. So much for Precision door of Florida. Next time I will get another company. Too bad.

One of the best experience I have ever had with a home service repair call. Same day service! Tommy, the technician was outstanding. Very professional, diagnosed the problem immediately and communicated exactly what and how it can be fixed. He even went out of his way to explain some preventive maintenance I can do and pointed out things I should keep an eye on given the age of the garage door systems without any pressure sales tactics. When I pointed out a vexing mystery as to why my remote will open the garage door when I return home, but struggles to close when I back out of the garage; he explained i had an LED light bulb that turns on when I open the garage to back out but isn’t on when I return home and attempt to open the garage. Some LED lights can cause interference with your remote signal. It’s these little things that make a great company. I now trust Precision Garage of Boynton Beach with all my repairs.

My garage door opener broke today and I called your company and you were able to come the same day and install a new one. The gentleman who installed the new one Taylor Wakefield was very knowledgeable. Took the time to explain what was broken and why it was better to purchase a new one based on the age and how much it would cost to repair the old one. Taylor did a great job with the installation and explained how everything worked. He was very neat and it looked great when he was done. He did the work like it was his own house. I could not have been happier.

Over price for what I compared with after. They don’t give you a price to repair till they get to your house. The young man did a good job and was ver professional. But I think they have different prices for different people as I check with someone who used them and saw what they paid. Commission maybe.
