We were really impressed with Precision Garage. From the time they took our call regarding our problem, to setting up an appointment, the staff was courteous and friendly. They kept us posted on when our technician would be arriving. Alex was right on time and was able to fix our door temporarily. Me most about the experience is that the repair man was not vaccinated and did not wear a mask! I think this is disrespectful of your customers. He then started to tell me, as though he were an expert in the science field of COVID-19, that it’s not dangerous. I decided at that point to just keep quiet because I did not want to get in an argument with this man. Why do you not have your unvaccinated employees wear a mask? I think many of us would like to know the answer.

Ms Carnes I had left you a message to try and discuss this situation with you. We take full ownership of this situation and not only has that tech been spoken to but we re-iterated to all our employees while we are seeing brighter days since the pandemic began it is still very much a real threat. Because some restrictions have lifted it is easy to "forget" about rules like masks and safety, all our techs have proper PPE equipment, hand sanitizer and are expected to have the discussion with the homeowner about maintaining social distance. Also while we give our employees the freedom to make their own medical decisions for themselves and their family, medical information is personal and should be kept private and not to be discussed with customers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can adjust and do better in the future.

After realizing that the existing opener was in disrepair, Fischer offered options for a replacement. Once selection was mad, the technician went to work immediately and after an hour or so, the new opener was installed. Fischer programmed the outdoor keypad as well as the transmitter in my vehicle. Cleanup was immaculate! I have used Precision in the past and will continue to do so in the future, as well as recommend their service.

Alex arrived an hour earlier than we had been told which was great!! He is very knowledgeable and walked me through the various options. Once I had made the choice he got right to work and was finished in just about an hour. In addition to the new spring I purchased a new sealer for the bottom of the door -- a great improvement over the old one. I am very happy with the work that was done and the price.

We had our Precision door installed a few years ago mainly due to the professionalism of the person who came to do the quote and the thoroughness of the quote, also the warranty on the various door parts. Alex came to replace the seal at the bottom of both of our doors and did a great job, also leaving no mess behind. He was on time and called ahead to announce he was coming. Mr. Miller - I'm sorry your experience did not live up to our usual customer interaction. I know the technician did a full inspection of your door and the itemized estimate which he explained (and you were sent a copy of) showed that both springs were to be replaced, as well as change out a couple other parts that would have made your door run better. You were not even charged a service call for the visit- as the technician left a free estimate for work quoted. HE also explained when there are two connected springs we will not only change one, that both need to be changed. This is for the safety of our employees as much as the quality of the job being done. Adding a new spring to an older weak spring and then adding tension almost always results in the old spring popping and can be dangerous while the technician is up on the ladder. I hope if you still need service you consider us in the future as we provided you with a quality diagnosis and did not charge anything for the time our technician was at your property.
