Found Precision via a neighbor's recommendation. Service was excellent. Joseph explained everything and presented two options. I had a broken spring so I replaced both the springs and the rollers. I can now lift the door during a power outage. During the power outage following the last hurricane, I had to recruit a neighbor to raise the door. Great service at competitive rates.

I had damage to my double car garage door due to Hurricane Milton, and Precision was the first door company to respond, and estimator was here in 2 days after the hurricane. They had my door in stock, and scheduled install for 4 weeks later. Installers showed up on time, and correct date, no delays, installed my beautiful hurricane proof door in about 2 hours, with all new everything. The installers explained everything in plain English , left me all paperwork and 3 year warranty, and showed me how to lubricate new door and perform yearly maintenance. Highly recommend Precision Garage doors. Oh, and their estimate was the lowest of 3 other companies!!!!

From the original visit Precision was very professional in installing a new hurricane garage door. The only problem that I noticed was a small gab at the top of door. I call them to determine if it can be adjusted but I may have to replace the sealing molding on the outside of the door.

Speed of service and the tech are outstanding. The prices are outrageous. Then to be charged over $80 just for the quote was over the top. Then over $1000 for a garage door opener, WOW. Sorry but I can't recommend it with charging me that much just to get a quote.

Thank you for reaching out Mr. Wink After reviewing your invoice and the technician notes it does look like you were quoted the Liftmaster top of the line motor for $999 with a tune up of $99.99 and also a standard belt drive motor to replace the belt you previously had for $799 also with a tune up of the door. We also have our most economical motor which is a standard chain drive at $699. You could also opt to not get the tune up done and you would deduct the cost of the tune up and the $90 labor charge but risk the new motor getting damaged by operating a heavy door. As advertised on our website we also currently have the service call waived with any repair so your total pricing for the motors would have either been $699, $799 or $999 out the door without rebalancing or tuning up the door. The technician notes from the day of service reads: "Upon arrival spoke with customer states they had a fire in the garage states just needs a new belt and pulley . After inspection found door to be running slightly off balance also found fire damage to the motor, belt has melted to motor gear , front pulley is damaged also wiring damaged. Providing customer options. Our great service began with Seth who came out to check out the job and give us a quote. It continued with the installers, Cesar and Cristien who worked diligently to complete the task. Since we had a fire we were in need of a new door as well as a new opener. The honesty of this company was shown when we were told the top garage door panel had a dent and would be replaced when the new one was received. The job was completed with all questions answered. Following Hurricane Helene and the damage she left behind, we called your business. The repairman showed up as scheduled. He proceeded to begin the repair. When asked how much it was going to cost to replace the safety sensors on the garage doors, he replied "$500. per door to replace 4 sensors, totaling a $1,000." I decided to look up the price. They were $37.00 a pair! $75. for four! This was supposedly a hurricane special? Shame on you.

After reviewing your invoice and the technician notes it does look like you were quoted the standard cost which is $250 per door to replace and wire in the new electronics and program them. The total would have been the $500 which was what was provided to you in the estimate written estimate. I do apologize if you misheard that number and doubled the price but please reference your written estimate which is the $250 pre door price you were quoted. You can always complete all home repairs as a homeowner at a lower price. They installed my garage door and 3 1/2 Year later it started rusting on the horizontal edges where moisture and dew accumulate.l called the manager and he said he will send an employee out to look at and he took pictures.They sent me an email saying that I pressure washed my garage door and that voided my warranty . Well I didn't pressure wash my door and I have never had my house pressure washed . So I would stay away from this company. There commercials are so annoying every time I see one so full of crap!!!!
