This is my second purchase from precision door. The first was installing hurricane shutters. This time an overhead garage door. They had the product in stock, and installation didn’t take weeks One of their competitors was going to take three weeks just to give me a quote. They arrived on time with plenty of notice. The installers in both cases were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I will definitely use their services again when needed, I would recommend you give them an opportunity to prove themselves.

When i called and mentioned my husband and I were looking for quotes to fix our garage, they were friendly and made an appointment quickly! On the day of, the technician called ahead of time and was actually running early, so that was nice! However, it wasn’t the best experience. After he inspected the door, about 5 minutes, we were told that, if we did not set up an appointment and use this service, then we would be charged a Service Fee of $49.99 for him coming out to inspect and give us a quote. This was not addressed when I called to ask about the services they provided and was offered an inspection. The tech went back and forth with me about paying the Service Fee, though there was no service performed. Once he listened to the recorded appointment call & confirmed it was not mentioned, he said he wouldn’t charge me but may just get “chewed out” later for it. I was taken aback and I feel the visit could have gone a lot better. I am happy to pay for something if I am aware there is a charge. That is not something we have run into with other companies we have worked with on our new home

The technician had no knowledge of my door opener pad, he claim he had never seen that one, he kept pushing buttons until he got it to work, but had no idea what was done to educate me as to why it wasn't working properly.
