My garage door worked fine when it was warm but when the cold came it would not close correctly. I replace the rollers which did not help. Upon researching the internet I determined that the garage door needed to be aligned. The service technician game me three estimates, which were not itemized, on a piece of paper. I elected the least expensive at this time $552. Upon completion of the work, I signed off on the work order. This was after all the work was completed NOT before. Looking at the rate of service performed, there was work that was not discussed up front that I may not have needed. Specifically: I searched the prices on Amazon and found that I was charged a very steep price for the parts: Blue capacitor (30B363-LM) was charged $90 - Amazon $19.50 Lift Master Safety Sensor was charged $137 - Amazon $38.99 again this is a part that was working before and replaced without discussing Garage door spring, Green .225 X 29' was charged $250 - Home Depot has for $39 I realize that Precision Door needs to make a profit but I feel that I was taken advantage of. One I do not know anything about garage door repair and more importantly I was not informed before what all the upgrades that were to be performed.

First I would like to Thank You for responding to my initial response, I know it was not highly satisfactory but I am pleased that I did receive a rebate of $172. The services performed were highly satisfactory and the customer service representative that called me was very professional. I would move my rating to a 4.5. I feel the service technician could do a better job up front in explaining what work is to be done and an itemized estimate before any work is started. I have used Precision both here and in my friends home. The service from Chris was definitely a 5. There was several things that needed to be done to my garage door and opener, but I couldn't afford them all today. So, Chris and I discussed my options and I decided to follow his advice. I am going to break the repairs up into 3 starting with one today and then the other two over the next six months. I hope to see Chris each time.

We called Precision around 8AM because our door was not closing. An appointment was made for the same afternoon and around 3 Chris arrived and immediately went to work. He quickly diagnosed the problem, which required new sensors and wiring the sensors from the motor. He performed the work in about an hour and the door works perfectly now. We could not be more happy with Precision and Chris.

I have utilized the services of Precision Garage for several years. I have always been satisfied with their service. I rate my very recent experience with 5 stars. I placed a service call after the control panel failed to open and close the garage door. The service telephone call was promptly answered by a human being who scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The problem was diagnosed, I received a written quote on the spot and the job was completed within hours. The technician was very polite, explained my options and got the job done. I will continue to use Precision Door Service for my future needs. New products purchased was a new motor, control panel and two remotes.

i am most disappointed with the service i paid for by your company, firstly was it just a coincidence you had the correct springs on your truck to suit my door. DASMA shows multiple combinations of springs. Firstly your technician told me he had completed the installation, but there was a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor on the right side of the door, i asked him to correct that, which he did, which produced a gap on the left side, i asked him to correct that which he did with some reluctance. it stated on the invoice he adjusted the limit switch, i hadn't used the door for sometime as i do not use the garage for my car, when i eventually opened the door it worked ok, when i closed the door it appeared to overrun the limit switch and caused the door to jam causing the slide to twist and bent the end retaining bracket to rend rendering the door un-usuable. After paying $ 422.65 to repair broken springs i did not expect to have to pay more to use my garage.
