New Port Richey Florida - It was the day before Hurricane Helene was due to arrive in Tampabay. Garage Door would not open- car stuck outside garage- My 88 year old mother in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and her Down syndrome son beside themselves with worry. Precision Garage Door sent out Mr. Chris Johnson –and he was the absolute best employee and person. Chris Johnson was gracious, kind, efficient, fast, and flawless in his work. I learned Chris had to go and secure both his and his girlfriends homes, both of which are very near the Gulf. Employees and human beings like Chris are hard to find and they are a Gem. Thank you Chris! Hurricane Helene devastated Tampabay and the entire Gulf Coast. Pretty much everybody who lives within the first seven to nine blocks off of the Gulf of Mexico got over two feet of water inside of their homes businesses. Thank you Precision! Thank You Chris! I chose Precision because of television ads that stated customers would not be sold something they didn't need. That was important to me. I was very happy with the repair on my garage door. David Crowe inspected the door and then gave a detailed explanation about why it wasn't working and what would be needed to make the repair. I appreciated the fact that I was able to decide what I wanted him to do today, and what I might consider having done in the future, no pressure. Within an hour, the door was repaired and working better than it has in years. It was easy to schedule the repair, and David showed up right on time. I will definitely use Precision for any future garage door repairs.

Precision installed our new door opener last year and we have been so pleased. We have never had an issue until now. When hurricane Helene blew threw the other night, we had power surges and outages all night and into the next morning, which apparently knocked something out and we could not open/close the door. After trying, unsuccessfully to reset the openers, I put in a service request, thinking it would be days until they could come with all the hurricane damage. Our tech was here the next day and had it reset in two minutes. I am so grateful for how polite and professional he was, but mostly for how he went out of his way to not make me feel stupid, as this was probably something I could have done had I taken time to fully read the reset instructions. I highly recommend this local Precision team!! Thanks, guys!

Austin is professional, pleasant and understanding. He cares about his workmanship. He answers questions politely and works quickly. He’s a delightful person who gets the job done well. Dominique arrived with in fifteen minutes as scheduled after we talk about change the key pad Dominique tried two different key pad it turned out to be a communication problem with the key pad and the motor Dominique show us some different models and prices we decided to purchase the genie garage door opener. Dominique was very professional and knowledgeable installering our new garage door opener. We have used precision earlier in this year to replace our roll and lubricting our spring. I'll give the serve person 5-stars, he was great. The cost of the repair was horrible $756 for 2 springs and it only took him about 40-min for the whole job. I looked up the springs on line and the same ones cost $120 for a kit which includes 2 springs and the steel rods used to adjust the tension.

Precision was called around 9am. Alex came and replaced the seal at the bottom of our garage door by noon. He explained the difference between two kinds of replacement seal and installed. Excellent. I was having a problem with my Genie garage door opener and was told that the door balance was off and to have that looked at. The Genie website had recommended Precision and since it is a name I was very familiar with (via reputation and commercials) I gave them a call. They could have had someone out the same night if I wanted, but since it was not an emergency I opted for an appointment the next morning. The technician, Josh was awesome! Very professional, polite and thorough. He called about 30 minutes before arriving and was beyond thorough and informative in his assessment of what my 20+ year old door needed. He was very efficient and attentive to his work as well as being personable. There was no high pressure sales pitches either. In the end, I am still having to contact Genie as the encoder is most likely still the problem, but some of the door components would not have lasted much longer anyway. Now, everything is brand new and quiet and guaranteed for 5 years. Also nice to deal with a pro military company! I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing garage door help.
