Luke and Doug were awesome from start to finish with removing my old door and track and installing the new code rated door... give them both a raise! definitely 5 star performance front and back. And let's also mention, my salesman, Greg. Got all the requirements spot on, got the pricing spot on, and imparted a lot of great education in the whole process... give him extra commission! This was a competitive deal (he didn't know that)... but he won the deal based on his knowledge.

Please let me explain my disastrous experience w/your company. Your advertising led me to believe that you had competitive pricing w/other garage door companies. It also led me to believe you did evening work. It stated that. When I called Fri. night 4/15, I was told that I could only have an appt. the next morning. OK. Morning comes, I get a call from Ryan Travis who tells me his GPS tells him he is 45 minutes away. He calls again. He is late! He is 20 minutes over that original 45 minutes. He comes in and looks at my garage door opener and spends what seemed like an hour doing NOTHING but talking and writing down on his notepad. I had hoped he would help me open the broken door manually so I could get my car out and give him room to work. But when I mentioned this, he didn't even try and said it was too heavy. Then, after asking me too many ridiculous questions like how many times a day I opened the door, he comes back with his estimate to fix the job. A whopping $650.+ which I immediately told him was an outrage as I showed him my last repair bill on that same door, in 2006, for $150. total for the springs, service call and labor. Meanwhile, he had done some preliminary work on the door and some of the end parts were hanging down. NOW, WHAT am I to do? I told him I could not afford such a repair. I told him to give me a basic price. I was stuck. My mom, who is handicapped, lives w/me. We are both senior citizens. We need our car. He gives me another price of $360., which I regret wholeheartedly signing onto. Then, in 15 minutes, he fixes the springs. We were so angry, we just wanted this scene over with. I asked him for a receipt and bill, and he said that your company is paperless and that he would email it to me upon my paying. Later, I tried to open this receipt on my email and of course, I couldn't. SO, I still have NO detailed copy of this service. After he left, I kept looking at the new springs and, while they opened the door, I noticed that they were thinner than the ones he replaced. Also, one spring looked to my eye shorter than the other. When I measured them, I was right. They are NOT the same length. I don't know how your company stays in business with such service as I received today. It is an outrage. I felt like I was being conned the whole way through. I have ads next to yours in the Yellow Pages that guarantee fixing those same springs for $175. total cost. I paid $360, am unhappy with the work done and the price! I am having a local garage door company come in on Monday morning for a service call to inspect just how good a job Mr. Travis did. I want to know if these thinner springs are safe and proper for my garage door. AND, I plan to write/e-mail/telephone the Better Business Bureau to report your company and the fact that we feel that we were taken advantage of as seniors. I'm sorry to have to report such a fiasco. But you should know about what I've written here. Thank You.

Andrew - Thank you for your review. I hate that you feel taken advantage of. We do not do that. There are times that our schedule is full and we cant arrive until the following morning. We regret that. It is also not uncommon to have two different length springs to properly balance a door. This is not incorrect although it may look different. I am glad to hear that your inspection of Travis' work was ok'd by our competitor. Travis is a stellar employee.

The work performed was satisfactory, the tech was knowledgeable and performed the repair in a businesslike manner. My only complaint is about the price charged seems excessive to me especially for a retired person on a fixed income but we needed to get the problem fixed in advance of listing our home for sale.

Carlos Morales and helper, SORRY I don't remember his name, fixed our garage door, it leaked and was very noisy. They strengthened the door, made it hurricane strong. James made repairs to my garage door and installed a new garage door opener. As with the last repair a year ago, James is always knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. When the job is complete, you can rest assured your door will operate like new. The phone staff is courteous and makes sure the customer knows when the technician will arrive at your home. The repairman was very good, very professional. He did his job and explained the better springs 3 year & 5 year, I went with the 3 year for additional $50.00, he did not tell me the cost of changing from a bushing to a bearing where the springs connect, only when he gave me the bill and charged $80.00 for that. That was a rip off! slide on the old bushing or the new bearing for $80.00 This is ridicules! As President of The Heritage Lake Home owner association I will be sure NOT to recommend your company. The man (Ryan T) that came to replace the rollers was excellent. Very courteous, friendly with my dogs and children, worked quickly in a clean and tidy manner. The finished job made me very happy. That said, I was not thrilled with the fact that there is no way to know in advance how much I'd be paying for anything. Once the service tech comes out, it would cost $50 to get an estimate if I didn't want to have the work done without shopping around. I will be needing a new opener soon, but I am hesitant to call someone out here knowing that if I am not happy with the estimate, I would have to pay $50 to not have the work done.

Easy to deal with and technician explained problem in detail and gave me various options. I ended up with a new unit rather than repair a 15year old one but there was no sales pressure. Glad I did. The new unit is so much quieter, has features such as roaming so not vulnerable to being hacked, and a vacation lock. House is much more secure than before.

James Mantsch came to repair our garage door. It kept binding and walking up the tracks - most of the time stopping and never opening or closing the entire way. James arrived promptly after calling first, then surprised us saying that our repair would be covered under warranty from a repair done 5 years earlier. Wonderful surprise! The repair was successful and the door worked better than it has in years. I did spring for a new seal at the bottom of the garage door since the existing one was nearly non-existent. Thank you James for a wonderful job.

I recommend you try a different company. I called ahead of time and asked for an estimate for one broken spring. Was told between $65 & $120. The service man came to my home and told me it was $160 for each spring and that he would not repair and was not allowed to repair just one. He also said tha the ball bearings needed to be replaced. I had the option of telling him no and paying $50 for the service call and having to wait another to call someone else, so I said to just change the springs and not the bearings (I never heard them squeak, I never heard of ball bearings going on garage doors). He again reiterated the ball bearings need to be changed as well. I feel really frustrated. In the end, he took $100 off the repair. So what I though was going to be between $65 & $120 ended up costing me $400. Maybe the ball bearings needed to be changed, but I'm not sure. I should have had him leave them and had them checked somewhere. If the person on the phone would have told me from the start it could be from $65 to $160 and we never do just one spring, and there may possibly be other problems, it would be a different story.

We feel your door needed more work than just replacing the spring. . Sometimes this means addressing what caused the part to fail instead of just replacing it. These repairs will cost more but we feel that repairing the entire door will provide our customers with many years of worry free garage door usage. Thank you again for your feedback.
