I was experiencing intermittent problems with my garage door opener. After conducting a brief search, I received a rough estimate from another company, but I was deterred by the idea of a service charge just for an evaluation and estimate. Being mechanically inclined, I struggled with the estimate, and so started looking for DIY solutions. My wife suggested that I check out Precision, as she had heard advertisements about them. I Googled them and discovered that they were offering a special $0 estimate promotion. Setting up an appointment was incredibly simple and all done online. I selected an available time for the next morning. Sam and Josh arrived as scheduled the next day, calling in advance to let me know they were on their way. I explained the issues I had been facing with my garage opener. Sam was patient and thoroughly checked everything. We done evaluating my setup he explained the various options and level of repairs possible based on my responses to his questions. I had a specific type of replacement opener in mind, and Sam had that model on his truck. The price he quoted included installation, with no misunderstandings or complications. I was given choices but never felt pressured. Sam took his time, addressing all my questions. We decided to move forward with a replacement opener, and everything came together quickly. He programmed the new unit and showed me how it worked, in case I wanted to make changes or add remotes later. He also removed all the old equipment and cleaned up existing wiring that was no longer needed as if it were never there. The entire process was easy, and both Sam and Josh were professional and patient. I highly recommend Sam, Josh, and Precision. If every service-oriented company operated like Precision, we would all benefit. Kudos to the management team for building such a great team!

I called Precision Door on Tue. afternoon for garage door inop. on one my rental properties in Clearwater. The tech meet meet me at the property the very next morning. Repairs and maintenance was done in less than an hour at a very reasonable price. The tech did not attempt to up sale me on new equipment just provided sound advice to improve the system for better performance and extended life. Exelent company with superior class field techs.

I chose Precision originally because of the ads I had seen. Our garage door was broken and our car was trapped inside. After reading other reviews I set up an appointment for the next morning. (The door broke late in the evening). I can't say enough about the service and workmanship. I was concerned that we would need a new door (the door was stuck, crooked). The technician (Christopher) arrived on time, had the problem evaluated within 10 minutes and completely fixed within the hour. The price was more than reasonable and the workmanship top-notch. The 2 men that arrived to evaluate the problem with my garage door issue were very polite, professional, answered all my questions, explained the issue with my door, discussed ways to prevent a recurrence and called with a 15 minute window. This gets the 5 star rating ! HOWEVER, I used your online service to book this appointment on the Saturday prior to the appointment, which included my chosen 4 hour time window. I recieved NO response, NO email; and had NO idea IF / WHEN they may arrive for the repair. I work full time and happened to be off that day and, fortunately, did not leave my home. This is the 1 star part of he rating. I did mention this to the 2 repair guys and, of course, they appologized for the miscommunication; which was ENTIRELY out of their control !!

I choose Precision because it was a familiar name from commercials and when I saw the great reviews, my decision was made. The office responded quickly and arranged an appointment for me that same day! WOW! Chris was the technician and he was friendly and a delight to work with.
