Replaced 1 garage door opener and serviced 2 doors. Came one day after calling, completed work promptly, professionally, and cleaned up thoroughly. Even helped me to connect up my car's built-in remote. Would definitely use again.

Called Precision garage door to fix a broken spring. He arrived promptly and replaced the hinge for what I thought was a reasonable cost, given that its well beyond a normal home owners capability to replace. But the tech then proceeded to find all sort of add on's...$200 to apply lubricant to 3 doors (which he said was a deal since it's usually $200 door). Took him all of 5 minutes for all 3 doors. I found the lubricants on Amazon for $25. Then he found a damaged hinge and replaced it for $120. Took him 3 minutes. TWO hinges on Amazon are only $12. So that's $110 for 3 minutes labor. Given that driving and set up costs were already included in the spring replacement, that's just absurd. He also replaced 10 rollers for $400. Rollers cost $15 on Amazon. Took him under 10 minutes to replace all 10. While I understand there's value to having the parts in hand as well as the tech's experience, it's not even close to what I was charged. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. Live and learn!

I previously had a service in which I purchased a lifetime warranty. When one of the parts broke, I was informed that they would no longer honor the lifetime warranty on future work. The repair person said it was not an option on my original receipt, so the previous service person sold me something that the company did not offer. However, after he left, I noticed the paperwork did have a lifetime warranty option selected, and I called the owner. He was polite and said to send him the paperwork. I did so 5 months ago, as well as a month later and 6 weeks later. I left 3 messages for him. Nobody got back to me so I am marking this down to 2 stars.

Had new springs installed by Precision Door less than 6 months ago. Now they will no longer support door. Technician charged me $220 to adjust sprints (15 minutes and no parts). Disappointed.
