When I made the appt. I was told the service charge would be $60.00, actual charge was $69.95. Gavin told me he did not know how to repair my Home Depot door & extensive replacement was the only option (when i made the appt. I was not asked what kind/brand the door was). Door is 8' x 7' while invoice says 16' x 7' (is pricing correct??). Door has no opener while invoice says " Lift Master." Door is 5 years old and seldom opened (no car has ever been in this garage). I am not a happy camper (kinda makes u wonder how u could have a 5 star average rating)?????

Antonio, the Precision Garage Door technician, is a rock star saving the day for us. We had just boarded a plane coming home from Las Vegas when our house/dog sitter called to let us know the garage door would not open so they could not get their car out of the garage to go home. I felt so helpless as there was nothing I could do to assist. When we landed in San Francisco, there was a text that our sitter received help from 2 neighbors and they were able to open the garage door. There was also a photo of the broken spring. It was about 3p on a Saturday when I contacted Precision Garage Door, and Antonio was at our home working around 4p. He did a very thorough inspection of every component and presented us with 3 different levels of service to our garage door. Since the door is 21 years old and had not been serviced, we elected to do the most amount of work hoping to get many more years for the garage door. He did an outstanding job and even gave us some training on items we can do every 6 months or so to keep the garage door in peak operations. I very much appreciated the timeliness of his work as well as the detailed information he provided.

At 1:00p on a Thursday, one side of our 2car garage doors quit working. I decided to call Precision Garage Doors to have a technician come out to give us an estimate. Approximately 3p our technician, Brandon arrived on site. After giving us our quote, we decided to have Brandon replace and upgrade the motor, the track, keypads and remotes on both sides of our garage. Tech was prompt and the spring, cable drums, cables and bearings were properly installed. Tech spent about an hour or less here. Garage door works properly. The cost on the other hand was completely outrageous at $1,232.

Our immediate need was to replace a broken spring, but when Mario arrived I asked what could be done to reduce the noise of the old screw-drive opener. He clearly explained our options and the cost. In addition to the spring, we ended up with a new belt-drive opener and rollers. We're very happy with the results. Scheduling was prompt and smooth, and Mario provided excellent service.

I asked the tech to adjust the torsion springs. He refused to do the job, instead to do estimate for $1400 to replace this and that. After I said no, he want me to paid $49.95 service charge without doing anything. Not honest person. beware!

It costed me $49.99 just to have them come out and confirm what I thought the problem was, then decided to tell me they don't have parts and do Not service my brand "Guardian" . The part is only $50-$75. They Do Not screen the calls at the call center and ask what brand of motor you have so they can sell you a new one from them... Very disappointing, if my part is only about $75 why would I spend $900 on a whole new motor??? I don't feel like I should have had to pay the $49.99 to come out then since they don't even service my brand! I should have been asked what brand I have before making my appointment, it was a waste of my time and my money all for Nothing!! Although the technician was very pleasant and professional, overall, I am extremely disappointed!
