Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

Have had such a hard time finding a good company to work with. Seems like there were so many people just trying to get a lot of money for what seems like a simple job to replace springs. Found precision on google and liked their customer service over the phone. They gave me a good price for two new springs and Shane was outstanding and did a great job. He worked hard to make sure that my upper rod did not have to be replaced, even though the previous owner had poor work done that made it difficult. The only down side was that the national call center mis quoted my price total, as the price they gave me over the phone was for parts only; but did not indicate that labor would be additional. So, the bill was $100 more than I was expecting. I was also bothered that the email confirmation I received after scheduling did not have the cost estimate included. I was receiving a promotional price on the new springs, and was quite shocked when Shane's initial estimate for the job was head and shoulders over what I had received on the phone. I did get the promotional price on the springs but the overall cost was $100 more than over the phone. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. I know this line of business is hard to estimate without looking at the garage door and condition of equipment. But, i did specifically ask for a price total if nothing more than two springs needed to be replaced. Shane deserves 6 stars; he is great. Thanks for fixing my door; it works great! jason
