We had problems with our garage door opener and called American Home Shield for repair thru warranty with them. Your company was selected and came to the house the next day. As the opener was 23 years old and needed parts if they were available AHS was notified of an replacement they would pay up to $350 for a new one. your installer said he had one with him which was top of the line and sold for over $700. If I paid $500 he would install it. I paid the $500 plus a $75 fee. I got an invoice which showed no breakdown of prices. I have since found out the opener sells for about $300 plus an installation fee. So it appears that between AHS and I we paid over $925 for the opener. Is this the way you do business. AHS has been contacted and we have tried to speak to a Supervisor with your company with no results. If we are not contacted I will be filing a complaint with BBB and Yelp.
