Any time you can't get your car out of the garage it's an emergency. We feel very fortunate to have picked Precisiondoor to replace a broken spring the same day. In 2001 I installed the door myself and it lasted this long. Travis, the technician recognized other potential future problems because of there useful life coming to an end. It made total sense to follow his recommendations. Hopefully we'll be good for another 21 years.

As a new owner of an old garage door opener that was missing pieces including the remote, I wasn't sure my problem could be solved. When I saw the Precision commercial on TV, I knew where to start and made the call. It was great to get an appointment for that day, and the technician (aka "the genius") arrived within the time slot, studied the problem, step by step found the needed pieces, and within an hour the opener was totally fixed. I was quoted around $650 plus around $30 service charge plus tax on the phone for a garage door opener replacement, but when the technician showed up he said it would cost around $1200. I told him about the quote but he said my garage door needed a belt drive and the motor would cost $1200. I then insisted that I just wanted whatever I was quoted but he said that the price I was quoted did not include the track or remote. Just when I was about to send him off he said he would not charge me for the track but he still charged me for the remotes. I ended up paying close to $850. This is not honest business practice and I just can’t recommend this place to my associates, friends, and family. By the way, after he left I realized that my garage door simply just wouldn’t close (came right back up after closing half way). Luckily he was still on my driveway and I had to get him back to fix it.

I got the pleaseure of paying $70 to have a pressured sales upgrade pitch. Went from spring replacement at $500 to min of 1800 or ultimate of 2200. I had another company come and replace the springs and rollers for 1/3 the price. I am so very glad I did not go with Precision.

On 03/11/2023, Sheridan Abad, service technician for Precision Door Service made a house call to repair the broken springs on my garage door. Sheridan arrived at my house 3 hours after I made my service call. After reviewing my original problem, Sheridan pointed out other areas with parts that were damaged or cracked that would soon fail. His explanation was easy to follow and understand. By pointing out these additional problem areas, Sheridan saved me the cost of additional service calls when these parts failed. Because Sheridan is an instructor for Precision Door Service, the repair time was very short.

Sheridan Abad did a superb job replacing a broken spring on our roll up garage door the same day that the problem was noticed. Travis performed a complete rebuild of my 19 year old garage door; rollers, springs, cables, bearings and new belt drive garage door opener. Travis was professional and knowledgeable in his work.
