Garage Door would only open about 2 ft. and would not open manually. Have used Precision in the past and have always been satisfied with their work. Carlos Larios arrived and quickly found that the rollers and springs needed replacing. Also, checked to make sure the motor, chain etc. were in good working order. He was very polite, knowledgeable, neat, efficient and the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time.

So happy that we called Precision Garage Door for a second opinion after our garage door broke! Even happier that we hired them to do the work! Gordon, the technician who came out, was very knowledgeable and detailed in his explanation of the choices we had. Instead of incurring the high cost of replacing and installing the cracked wood panel, he fastened a metal plate to hold it together. He gave us various options and costs to just repair it, or minor maintenance to get us through, or a more extensive maintenance job (new springs, rollers, cables, etc.) that would give us 10 more years of use on a 20 year old door that hadn't been maintained properly. We chose the extensive maintenance and are extremely satisfied with the result for the cost! The door is much quieter and lifts smoothly. And the warranty they provide at no charge is a major added plus!!

I made the appointment online for a time the following day that worked for my tenants. Bachir Gharbi called me when he was 20 minutes away, as I had requested. I met him at the property. Bachir quickly assessed the situation and gave me a thorough explanation of the problem. He gave me a choice of three options for resolving the issue. He completed the repair in around two hours. I returned to the property. Bachir was very personable, knowledgeable, and respectful. He also gave our tenant a complete explanation of the repair and how to open the door manually if necessary. Overall, I am delighted with my interaction with Precision Garage Door. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone requiring garage door installation or repair. My 20-year old garage door system stopped working so I called Precision. Travis Bein came to my house, assessed the situation and provided me an estimate for multiple repair options (e.g. replace just the opener, replace the opener and spring, replace the opener and spring and rollers, etc). I chose to replace all the moving parts (opener/chain, spring, rollers, cams, bearings). It took Travis longer to do the work than his original 2 hour estimate due to the need for a second spring and fabrication of some extra bracketry, and consequently the cost increased. However, Travis discussed the cost increases with me prior to continuing and I agreed to proceed. Travis did excellent work (time efficiency and work quality) and he patiently answered all my questions. I highly recommend Travis Bein for any garage door work you may need.

Precision Garage Door Service (PGDS) installed the garage door emergency release lock on 7/09/24. (1) I appreciate the lady who answered my call, so wonderful. (2) Tech. Jose B.Lopez came within 24 hrs, worked fast, and explained & demonstrated how I should use the garage door emergency relese key. Also, Jose assessed garage door balance, door springs, and opeator- boom/trolley, and control panel/ remote. (3) The service fee was $ 279.82. PGDS provided honest estimation and executed the task professionally. I like PGDS becuase it doesn't play tricks on customers.

Calling Precision on a Saturday, they sent out “Rodney” who evaluated the situation and judged, to his credit, that the job should be done by someone with more experience with this type of door installation in the interests of safety and my satisfaction. He called into the office and they sent out “Carlos” who not only fixed the problem, but made adjustments to fit the door well, and pointed out some things that would need to be done at some point to lengthen the service life of the motor and some needed minor repairs that I hadn’t noticed. This gentleman was so knowledgeable, thorough, patient, kind, explained ever detail of what was wrong, what solutions and options were available to me, and recommended what I could wait on for another 6 months to a year, and what really needed to be done right now. He made sure I understood everything he had explained, and answered every question I had. I felt absolutely confident with my decisions.
