PRECISION GARAGE DOOR SERVICE OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS

Waiting for new doors we ordered a few days ago, the garage opener failed to work properly after going out for dinner which left side of door fell and remained uneven. I called and set up an appointment for next morning. It was quickly adjusted, reset to not open fully, to avoid taxing the opener and having the issue happen again. We appreciated Justin coming back, explaining the issues, and taking care of them. I cant wait until our new comes in 3-4 weeks. (Oversized height/width)

The technician was way more concerned with selling me ridiculously overpriced, poorly made, parts than installing new torsion springs. Workmanship was marginal, at best. I was expecting repairs to cost about $400. Bill was $815. Would have been well over $915 if I had let the guy install new $100+ cables that cost me $9.00 on Amazon + 20 minutes to install. I felt like Precision GDS was intentionally deceptive from the initial call to set up the appointment until the technician left my house. My suggestion....go elsewhere, or at the very least, get a written estimate with everything needed to do the job "right", then, for comparison, get another estimate from another company.

Door quality is excellent. However, 3x techs have come out but problems still exist. Yes, uneven garage floTCor is evident. One tech alluded to this being a common problem, but we still have excess spacing on right side and bottom. Bandaid fixes are not lasting more than 24 hours. Flooring was not checked beforehand, otherwise we might not have replaced but only repaired. Now we are stuck with door that looks bad from the street.

We attempted adjusting the door multiple times and gave you a thicker seal to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, with the condition or your concrete we are not able to completely close the gap you are referring to without jeopardizing the safety and longevity of your garage door. If the concrete is leveled or fixed, please let us know and I would be happy to have someone come out and adjust the door at no charge.

I basically chose Precision because they could come out first thing the next morning. I had also seen their commercials they came to mind right away. I had come home at 5 to find my garage door with a broken spring and I could not lift by myself. Called a couple door company's and Precision could come out between 8 and 12 the next day. Thankfully they came out at 8 and by 9 were done, replacing 2 springs and a bearing.

Great service, but way overpriced on parts. Replaced two springs and 3 bearings for $689.00. The markup on parts is nearly triple of what it would be buying equivalent parts online or at hardware store. For example, bearings avg. price is $10-14 online but from Precision they are $59/ea. I'm deep into a remodel on my house and just didn't want to mess with another repair as I have so much on my plate. Having worked on garage doors at previous homes of ours and clients, expected bill to be in $300-range. Learned the hard way again of why I should do the work myself if I know how.
