The gentleman showed up looked at my door and then determined that his company could not order the proper parts to fix it. This could have been determined at the outset before wasting everyone’s time. What’s strange is that after he went back to his car to determine his “course of action” he called me on the phone from my driveway. It’s almost as if he didn’t want to have to have the conversation face to face because he was trying to upsell me. I walked out to the driveway to talk to him in person.

I called Precision to evaluate my garage door and replace a broken spring. Everyone was super helpful from reception and scheduling to Jake, my tech. I was given 3 quotes. . .bare minimum to get by, mid-range parts replacement and service with 3 year warranty, and most comprehensive parts replacement/service with 7 year warranty. Very clear and informative. The work was done quickly and professionally. Jake was great and did a super job. I highly recommend Precision.

Jacob called, letting us know his approximate arrival time. When we explained our problem he immediately knew what was causing the difficulty and fixed it. After inspecting the door and the mechanical aspect, there were some issues that needed to be addressed. We agreed on what should be done for the system to work properly. After completing the task he explained what he did and how to lubricate in order for the door to continue working properly. Jacob was extremely polite and knowledgeable.

I will be having my credit card company remove your $75 charge of having done nothing for your tech being out here and fixing NOTHING.....simply telling me I have an electrical problem...to replace a wall switch, which I did and continue to have same problem of door opening only 1/2 way sometimes. I also requested a return phone call twice. which I never got. Was told my concerns would be forwarded to main office and they would get back to me.....that also never happened. I have nothing good to say about Precision, except they are pretty good at dodging your questions and avoiding you! Do not use this company! I have a different company coming out tomorrow.

To begin with, I never thought we would get such fast service when my husband called your business to set up an appt. to fix our garage door. He called Friday afternoon. I thought we'd have to wait til Monday to get things fixed. I can't believe how fast our problem got solved by Colin H. First, he called at 7:45 said he was just leaving and should be at our house by 8:15. He got here at 8:13. I believe in punctuality. He got an A+++++ for that. He was very professional and very polite. He got things up and going in a short time. You are so lucky to have him as an employee. BTW I have seen your commercial on TV so often and that's how we came to call your business.

Service for us was initially for installation of new touchpad. Other issues were pointed out to me however re: poor condition of the rollers and I had those 20 year old items replaced. Also received new remotes. Job was done quickly with a professional attitude. Also was advised on lubricating components. Couple concerns we realized afterward were that directions were not left for the touchpad itself and can it be setup to operate remotely via cellphone? We have directions for the remotes. Thank you. Very dissatisfied. When I called for appointment, I don't recall being told that the call is $69.95 plus a $15.00 gas charge. She said they would do a 25 point inspection. Give me an estimate before any work. I don't think he was here even 10 minutes and it .cost me $85.00, for him to tell me I need new rollers. I refused for the price. Really not happy. Can't answer service performed question because nothing was done. I had to answer below that it was a garage door repair so that I could submit comment buy there was no repair. Wouldn't even give it a 1 star.

Donna, Unfortunately with current fuel and maintenance costs, service companies cannot come to a home for free. I myself just had a heating and A/C company come to my home to look at my furnace. The charge for them just to show up to my door was $189 and they required a credit card on file before dispatching a technician. Our customer service representatives do quote our trip charge when booking the call as well as telling our customers that if any repairs are completed, the trip charge is waived. I did review the recording of your call, and the customer service rep did indeed inform you of the trip charge as well as the fact that it would be waived if any repairs were done. We try to offer options on repairs and keep them as affordable as possible while also making sure that they are safe and reliable. We truly do value your business as well as your feedback and hope that you will reconsider using us in the future.

I was extremely impressed with the technician sent out for our garage repair. We had a broken spring and needed the rollers and ball bearings replaced. He explained what needed to be replaced and gave us three options with costs to choose from. It was nice to have a choice and not have someone telling you that you need to choose the most expensive. We did ultimately choose to have everything we needed replaced. He was efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely use you again if needed. I called you because I saw a coupon in a coupon mailer and I looked online for reviews and service comments.
