My service provided by Jeremy went way beyond his professional expertise. He arrived to do his job only to find me with a car in the garage that was completely locked up. He helped me figure out how to get gear shift unlocked; pushed the car out, helped me charge the battery on car. He explained the problem as well as showed me the part. My husband is on oxygen. I hope the service department will acknowledge his caring for people as well as his caring about the company he works for. He definitely left me with a great respect for him. My wife and I are preparing our home for an inspection after contracting for a home sale, and we found a coupon in a Valpak we received in the mail. I had concerns for our garage door for the inspection, as it was obviously in need of adjustment and tune-up. I called Precision, was directed by a very cordial and courteous sales representative, who scheduled an appointment based on my needs. The technician, Andrew Straub, called ahead of the scheduled appointment, arrived on time, was very courteous, professional, and walked me through the inspection, advised clearly the issues with the door and the required tune-up. Andrew tuned-up the door in a very reasonable time-frame, then showed me what he had done, and tested the door to allow me to see it was functioning perfectly. I was able to return to work quickly. Best of all, this great job was covered by the Valpak coupon at a great price! I immediately sent recommendation/referral letters to my home sale and purchase real estate agents, and would highly recommend Precision for their overall service performance. My garage door spring broke. Precision was out within an hour to fix it. The repair man had the job completed in 45 minutes. He also took the time to lubricate all the joints. The door is much quieter than before the repair. Great job.

I contacted Precision for a new keypad and remotes, Technician was unable to provide service because he said the age of opener needed different frequency transmitters. Why wouldn't a garage door company have the transmitters with the right frequency? I was left without the any new way of accessing my garage which was the original intent of the service call! On the other hand the technician was very polite and professional!

Excellent service. They came out to fix my garage door at 9:30 pm; the technician Ken was professional and pleasant and obviously knew what he was doing. Fixed it right away and saved me from having my door open all night. I look forward to having Precision do a whole tune-up on my door in the near future. Justin replaced all the worn rollers, wires, pulleys and springs. He did a good job as he did on the other door in 2014. My only complaint is that when I tried to print my receipt, part of the words were cut off and I had to write them in. It would be nice if you printed the receipts, like you did last year.

Installation of 2 garage doors and 2 garage door openers I chose Precision for my garage door needs because my neighbor had used your services and gave you a glowing review. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't quite as positive as I had hoped. Jeremy NG came out on July 16, 2015 and worked up an estimate for me. While he answered all of my questions, his personality was a little flat. I got the sense and he wasn't very enthusiastic about his job. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but he didn't exude the optimism I had expected. Before ordering the garage doors, I rechecked my estimate on August 20 and noticed that the order did not include some very important needed items. I called the home office and spoke with Brian who added the items to the work order yet kept the cost of the job the same. I appreciated his effort to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I placed the order on September 14, paying the necessary deposit. I double checked the estimate with the salesperson taking the order to verify everything needed was included and that the cost was what I had been quoted. Everything matched and the ordering process went very smoothly. The doors arrived on September 22 and Precision promptly called to set up an installation date of October 1. On October 1, the installers called when they were on the way to confirm that I was home and arrived at approximately 8:30am. I always like to ask for length of experience for anyone who works at my house so I was a little leery to learn that one installer, Matt, had only been with Precision for 6 months; the other installer, Jason, had only been on the job for 3 days! I was quite surprised that a guy with only 6 months experience would be training another installer. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, though, and just monitored their progress. I was initially told when placing my order that installation would take approximately 6 hours. Well, after 8 hours they were still at it. Both doors and door openers were installed and were operating from the wall mount and the separate handheld wireless remotes, but I was told they would not be able to complete installation of the weatherstripping or the fixed wireless remote keypads because they had accidentally cut the weatherstripping incorrectly. Matt explained that they would return the following day with his boss so that they could complete the installation. They pulled out of my driveway around 6pm. On October 2, Matt called when he was on his way to notify me that he would complete the installation alone because there was an emergency with an entire door that his boss and Jason had gone to troubleshoot. He arrived about 8:15am. I left for an appointment at 9:30 and asked him to lock up when he finished. I returned around 2pm to find that the job had not been completed and that Matt was nowhere to be found. I checked my phone messages to see if anyone had called to explain the situation. Nothing. Luckily, I had Matt's cell phone number from his previous call that morning and promptly called him to ask what happened. He said that he had an emergency and had to leave but that the office had said they would send someone else over to finish the job. After ending the call with him, I promptly called the home office and explained the situation. To my surprise, no one apologized for the inconvenience nor could offer an explanation for what had transpired. We rescheduled the completion of the job for Monday, October 5 at 8am. Of course, no one realized at the time that we were facing a flood! On October 5, I received no phone call that anyone was coming to finish the job and assumed that no one would show up to complete the installation due to the inclement weather. To my surprise, two installers arrived around 8:15am - Andrew and Jason, one of the installers from Day 1. I asked what had happened to Matt and was told that he no longer worked at Precision. I was shocked to learn that he would walk off a job without completing the finishing touches and later tell me that he left due to an "emergency". Andrew and Jason completed the job within a couple of hours. Discovering that Andrew had been with Precision for 2 1/2 years gave me a little more confidence that the job would be done right. Andrew even programed the garage door openers to our vehicles. That was a nice touch. After inspecting the job and asking them to fine tune a couple of things, I paid the balance and signed the remaining paperwork. Unfortunately, he was unable to send a receipt by email and attached a note to the work order for the home office to email a receipt. When I had not received it after 4 days, I had to call the home office to get a copy for my records. I truly love my new garage doors and garage door openers! The doors are sturdy but quiet. I would have liked for the installation to have gone smoother, but after some false starts and hiccups the job was done to my satisfaction. While some of the employees at Precision were working hard to gain my trust and make me a satisfied customer, the performance of others was very minimal. For that reason, my rating is only 3 stars. The product is wonderful but employee performance needs some work. *The drop down box below would not allow me to choose both garage doors AND garage door openers but both were installed*

We own a house in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The torsion spring on our two car garage door snapped leaving us in a lockdown. American Home Shield was to replace the broken part through your company for a copay of $75 bucks. The 29445 technician"Kenneth" that was sent out to fix our garage door was outstanding! I happen to be at work the day he came to fix our garage door. My husband was home but he is home recovering from an accident and happened to be on pain medication -- so Kenneth spoke to me on the phone while I was at work. He is a master at the "upsell" -- we went from a $75 copay to an $800+ garage door opening system... and I am so glad we did! I had to take a giant leap of faith considering I wasn't home to speak with Kenneth directly and face to face. His recommendation was spot on and we are exceptionally pleased! We now have the quietest garage door I've ever experienced in my life. Having a metal, two car garage door one piece, I just thought because it's metal it was supposed to be exceptionally and mind-numbingly loud. The opener we have now works perfect and it is whisper quiet! Your technician Kenneth was courteous, intelligent, having mastery of product knowledge, and managed to convince us to upgrade with one phone call. He arrived on time and fixed our problem in a timely manner. Not only have we already recommended you to our friends and family, we will continue to do so. Please make sure your South Carolina 29445 technician named Kenneth get the commendation he deserves. Why such accolades over a fixed garage door? I work crazy hours and coming out into the garage at night to relax in my recliner is like a retreat to me; it's relaxing. A glass of wine after work, enjoying the cool breeze, I love sitting out in the garage for a bit to relax but not when it wakes up the whole neighborhood to open the door at 2 a.m. We are so pleased with our new garage door opener and the service we receive from Precision Doors. You are the best in your field. We first tried to put up a garage door opener about 5 years ago, then decided to call you guys. That worked for us, then after the 5 years, the torque spring broke. The tech came out the next day and was very professional and nice and explained what happened with our garage door. It seems that the new home builders put trash in a new home for a garage door and then sell it for a lot of money. So he fixed our door and put good stuff in for the door. I do appreciate these people very much. I would recommend them anytime.
