I called to schedule an appointment for a broken chain on my opener, and was surprised someone could come out within a couple of hours. My technician was Chaz. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was obvious he understood the operation of garage door openers. Mine was at least 30 years old, and Chaz did everything he could to make it work again, including finding a small chain link on his truck, to repair the obvious problem. However, we discovered metal shavings, a hot motor that wouldn’t turn off at the end of a cycle, and just general end of life issues with my old garage door opener. He had a new opener on his truck and installed it the same night. He walked me through the operation of the new opener, and there was no mess at all after he left. What a great technician!

Precision Door was highly recommended by my daughter and neighbor. You went above and beyond my expectations. We were hit by a tornado and the garage door was one of the things damaged. You had someone out the next day after I called. Your rep, Jeff Johnson, was professional and empathetic. He was so very helpful explaining what we would need to replace as well as providing the paperwork for my insurance company. I also liked that he spoke so highly of Precision Door. Had a tech come out to provide an estimate for damage caused by a tornado. He told me the estimate was going to cost $50, which would be deducted from the cost of the work if I moved forward. I apologized for wasting his time, but I was not going to pay for an estimate considering I had multiple companies that would be providing quotes. It was at that time the gentleman hung up on me.

Fast same day service to fix a broken spring. Adam was the service technician and was joyful, courteous and thoroughly explained all my options. He pointed out some issues with wear happening on the bearings as the bracket attaching to the wall wasn’t completely stable. He replaced the spring, lubed everything, attached wood blocks to stabilize the bearings and left me a can of lubricant and explained how I should use it to maintain the door. Great overall experience!

The service rep was at our home within an hour of requesting help with a garage door that would not close. Within 20 minutes he located a loose wire preventing the sensors from working properly.
