Saw Precision's ad on TV many times. So, when my garage door malfunctioned, the first thing that came to my mind was Precision. Online scheduling was a breeze. I was able to book a slot within a few hours. The tech was very courteous. To my surprise - the tech told me that the spring could not be replaced, no company could do it. I have to convert the system to a completely different system for $1500. That didn't sound right to me. I called a different company in front of him and they said they can replace the spring for $350. I declined Precision's quote and had to pay the tech $85 for his service visit for the "upsell effort". Waited a couple more hours for the other company tech to come to replace the spring and fix my garage door like a charm in no time for a fraction of what I was quoted by Precision! Precision's approach of trying to upsell me a garage door system conversion was not honest. The tech tried hard to convince me that the expensive conversion was the only solution and sell me the product that I did not need to fix the garage door.

Our torsion spring snapped and we needed a quick fix as we needed our vehicles out of the garage to work in the morning. We googled garage door repair and Precision was the first to pop up so we gave them a call for a quote. After calling around to other companies, we determined their rates were competitive and they could get us in for an inspection and repair quick ( same day) Our appointment was scheduled for between 1pm and 2 pm and out technician was Troy. Troy called us around Noon-ish and explained he was ahead of schedule and asked to come early and we happily obliged. When Troy should up he was courteous and informative! He was open to explain the working of the cables, brackets and torsion springs and answered and questions I had. After his inspection he made his recommendation based on our needs and the functionality of our garage door and I did not feel that he was over selling us equipment or replacement parts we didn’t need. We agreed to have him repair and replace right then and there. As the torsion springs replacement was taking place, Troy informed me he only had 1 of the springs with him that we agreed upon but had an upgraded spring with as well and he kindly worked the upgraded spring into the original quoted price without an extra charge. Not only did he replace our springs and other parts that was recommended, he also make sure travel was correct, parts we lived and door was working properly before finishing the job and leaving. We are very happy with Precision and Troy from the initial call, repair and replacement and our satisfaction of the completed job. We highly recommend Precision.

Our springs broke on both sides on a Saturday afternoon. I called expecting a weekday appointment and was pleasantly surprised that a technician could be to our house the next day on a Sunday - I wouldn't have to take vacation to wait for them. John was running a bit early, so called before he came to ensure we were home, arrived when he said, and quickly took care of the problem - replacing the garage spring. I needed to have my garage door springs and cables replaced on a Saturday afternoon after I heard one of the springs snap. I called Precision and scheduled an appointment for a tech to come to my home and replace these items. I was very happy that the tech arrived within an hour and began working on the repair. Unfortunately, there was a major issue during the cable repair (which I won't go into), but I waited until I could discuss it with a manager...his name is Rudy. Rudy assured me that he would take care of the issue and call me back. He contacted the owner and then called me back to let me know that I would receive a partial refund for the issue that I had with the repair. Rudy did not do the actual repair work, but he proved to me that his/their customer service is guaranteed to make the customer happy (that would be ME). I truly appreciate his efforts and I will certainly be a return customer if I ever need my garage door replaced or repaired. Thank you Rudy!
