The service was fine. The technician was very professional and explained the problem - my failure to properly lock and unlock the manual lever. My issue is the cost for this simple correction. $250 is a bite extreme. I do not understand why. Hurricane Ian and increase in service volume justify this high rate. I was told that this was not part of my warranty because there wasn’t a problem with parts. I am a very disappointed customer.

Precision is always quick to respond. Our Technician, Jimmy was professional, efficient and thorough. We called because our safety sensors had failed. Jimmy replaced those and did a complete door maintenance as well. He also fixed the loose wall mount opener. Jimmy explained all repairs completely and told us how to lubricate the springs and rollers. Very satisfied with Jimmy and Precision!

The service person was very professional. Here’s my issue in reviewing my bill breakdown. I was charged $980 for the actual Genie unit; when looking up the model # the unit cost less than $200. Was charged $250 for the belt that actually comes with the Unit itself. Only have one remote when the unit comes with two. Was charged $120ea for the left and right end bearing plates for which on online are worth less $20. At the end of the day, I received a bill for $2875 for a job that’s probably worth $1200 to $1500 when you’re including labor. I know what ur going to say, the person quoted you and you decided to proceed. But that being the case the person never gave me a breakdown of what I was actually being charged for prior to doing the job.

The Technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He not only took care of the issue originally scheduled to do. But but when was asked about another issue we were having, diagnosed the issue and presented us with multiple options. We reviewed those options while our original issue was being resolved. When we made a decision and asked when we could schedule that work. The Technician told us he had everything needed on his truck and could have it completed in less than two hours. Great job!!!

The rubber belt on our belt driven garage door opener failed. Scheduling the service call was easy with a delightful young woman for a same-day appointment. Travis and his partner called to advise of his arrival time. They were efficient and did not try to sell me a new garage door opener that was not necessary. They were able to replace the belt assembly and re-program the existing motor. The price was very reasonable. I am very pleased with the service.
