Paul Brinkman arrived early evening, inspected our garage door, and made very useful suggestions explaining in layman's terms. We decided to replace a 15+ year unit. Paul installed the new opener, fixed several other minor issues, and walked us through features of the new opener. Paul Brinkman is great! Fantastic customer service. Yesterday I was very dismayed that I backed my son’s truck into my garage door. When I saw a slightly dented door, a door off of the tracks and damaged tracks, I immediately worried that I would incur a 4 digit expense. Joe came to my home this morning. After taking an assessment of the damages, he said: “I’ve seen worse.” He went on to say: “This should not be a difficult repair & we won’t need to replace any of your major parts. I contacted Precision after my garage door would begin closing then reversing multiple times before finally closing. Saw Precision's Ads on TV and contacted them. I spoke with a very courteous and professional rep who scheduled an onsite visits the following day. An email was sent confirming the visit and advising who would be visiting. Technician Mario Mojica contacted me by phone and arrived well before his estimated time. He diagnosed my problem as faulty optical sensors and quoted me the cost to replace. Parts were on his truck and he installed them during his visit. He was a professional and competently brought my door back to operating properly. Dealing with Precision and their staff was a rewarding experience and will contact them again should I need service on my garage door.

Paulino appeared on time, tinkered with the garage door for a few minutes by raising and lowering it manually, then suggested that it was time to replace some parts. We have used the door and its parts for 33 years, so I was not surprised. Paulino gave me an education in rollers and springs and torsion tubes and bearing plates, gave me a quote, and said he could complete the work within an hour. And he did. He communicated, he worked hard, he was knowledgable, and he had a sense of humor. Thank you Paul!

Called Precision garage door to fix a broken spring. He arrived promptly and replaced the hinge for what I thought was a reasonable cost, given that its well beyond a normal home owners capability to replace. But the tech then proceeded to find all sort of add on's...$200 to apply lubricant to 3 doors (which he said was a deal since it's usually $200 door). Took him all of 5 minutes for all 3 doors. I found the lubricants on Amazon for $25. Then he found a damaged hinge and replaced it for $120. Took him 3 minutes. TWO hinges on Amazon are only $12. So that's $110 for 3 minutes labor. Given that driving and set up costs were already included in the spring replacement, that's just absurd. He also replaced 10 rollers for $400. Rollers cost $15 on Amazon. Took him under 10 minutes to replace all 10. While I understand there's value to having the parts in hand as well as the tech's experience, it's not even close to what I was charged. I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. Live and learn!
