Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

I first phoned Precision for an estimate of a broken garage door spring as I could see it was broken. The girl on the phone was not overly friendly! They didn't want to commit to price but gave me some pricing and said it could be more. I decided to shop around. I called back and made an appointment because they claimed that they had the best springs that would last a lifetime. I also asked again about prices and they in the same range as they gave the first time. When the service tech. Arrived he said it was going to be a lot more than the price given on the phone. I told him that I was told it was going to be a lot less and also that they were more expensive then others. He said they could drop the price some. I don't appreciate being told one thing on the phone, then upon arrival wanting more money! I almost said please leave I will find someone else! That is just wrong!! Also, after the repair, when I told him the door still sounded like it was making noise, he said the hinges needed oiling and they charge another $50. He said that if I yelped in his favor, he would do it for free as he could win a trip to Disney with his family. Incredible!! Just ridiculous!!! First of all, after paying $430 to have a garage door spring replaced yes, $430 to have a garage door spring replace, I should hope a bit of WD40 and 2 minutes, or less, of squeezing a WD40 can is included in the service!! MY God! What has this world come to?? He did get it repaired and was friendly. Would not use precision again!!!
